Immersion brewer with stainless steel micro-filter

This is a 2 to 4 cup coffee maker. The grounds are fully immersed in the stainless steel, micro-filter, which is removed after brewing. It's a patented system from Sowden and the pots are now sold by Danish homewares brand Hay. This model retail for £95!

This pot is new, unused, but unboxed and comes with a wooden lid (the current version has a fully plastic lid).

Sowden SoftBrew is a super-easy way to make coffee and produces a medium-to-fuller bodied cup. As the filter holes are tiny it benefits from good flavour clarity. The brew is less finely filtered than Hario etc and much more finely filtered than French Press.
